On a darkening London evening, Jack Antonoff is describing the time he took his New Jersey childhood bedroom on tour, allowing fans an immersive listening experience of Gone Now, his second album as Bleachers.
We’re opposite one another either side of a huge table and, as he talks, Antonoff picks his way through scrambled eggs, toast, porridge and fresh fruit. He’s got a cold, too, and is keeping hydrated with chilled, hotel-issue water.
