Handle Recruitment have a new in-house opportunity for a confident EMEA PR Manager with a globally renowned organisation, recognised for their excellence and innovation.
Our client, known as one of the leaders in their market, value their commitment to delivering outstanding results and service to their customers worldwide. Due to their consistent expansion and development they are now in the position to hire an EMEA PR Manager, ideally with experience within the consumer lifestyle market, in to their established global communications team.
Responsible for one of their biggest business offerings, you will be responsible for a variety of important duties, fundamental to the smooth running of their organisation. You will look after all press office enquires for the UK, build and maintain relationships with key media (expanding on an already established list of contacts), keep a constant momentum of coverage, manage events, launches, crisis management and international messaging. You will also be required to produce regular reports, distribute key PR news to relevant European teams and provide support and consultancy to internal marketing and management teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Outstanding knowledge of the media, with key contacts ideally in consumer/lifestyle press (any telecoms/mobile experience will also be seen as an advantage)
*Consumer, B2B and corporate PR experience
*Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication (must have exceptional writing skills)
*High level people management skills - experience working alongside marketing teams and senior management beneficial
*EMEA PR Experience - global awareness
*Flexibility to travel when required
*Ability to work fast and smart under pressure whilst delivering consistently at a high standard
